Okie... We are tired. Look at my eyes that is nothing more then 2 tiny slits.
I was walking on my Strategy essay from Singapore to HK... I was typing and typing.. And before we know it... We reached HK.
Which is the way to Arrival...
My first photo in HK... I got no idea what the guys are focusing at... We look sooo tiny. What is so interesting with the background?
This is taken by me... More 'got-standard' right...
We were starving when we arrived.. So after we cleared immigration, we went in search of our first meal...
My first 'Shao La' in HK... Char Siew and Braised Chicken Rice. Well, a little hip-cup here. I ordered a cold drink, but the girl at the counter doesnt really understand what I was saying, and she gave me a hot one.. When I request her to change, she refuse to!! And well... her attitude was kind of bad.
After the meal, we walked out to find 21A. The airport transfer bus to take us to our Hotel. The guys... Trying to locate the bus.
Me and QH in the bus... Looking more refresh after meal. =)
We did our homework, and we knew that we had to alight at the 10th Stop. So well, we started counting bus stops as we were on the road. But not knowing that the bus did not stop at All the stops, we actually overshot... So lugging our luggage, we actually walk like.. 3 streets to the correct bus stop... And anothe countless alleys to find our Hotel.
After much walking... We finally arrived!
This is the room, me and QH are going to share for the nest 4 days... =)
At SGD 110 per night, I got to say the rooms are not that bad.
Without wasting much time... QH and I followed our pre-planned itinerary. And we went down to Lai Chi Kok.
Us again... At the MTR Station.
We went all the way down to Lai Chi Kok, for this.. HK Industrial Centre. This is the Distribution Area, where the clothes, shoes and accessories are supposed to be comparable to China price. Well, we did not manage to grab any cheap buys here... The style is a little not us.
And we saw this very 'old-school' lift in HK Indsutrial Centre. Each lift is operated by a lift operator.. When the lift reach its level, you need to open this white panel, follow by a metal grill before you can enter/leave the lift... Very 'old-school'!
And presenting to you... The best Egg Tart I ever had. Its only HK3.00. Not from any branded bakery. Its just a very old bakery we saw near the MTR exit. But... omg. This is reallye delicous. The crust is the flakey type, and the filling sweetness leve is just nice, and its the soft watery type. Ah, difficult to describe. But I so feel like eating Egg Tart now. =)
Since there's nothing much at Lai Chi Kok, we took the MTR down to Kowloon Tong to meet up with JT and JJ.
There is this big Shopping Mall right on top of Kowloon Tong, if my memory doesnt fail me it should Festival Walk. We shopped around a little, and decided its time for dinner.
Since we're in HK, we have to eat more local stuff right.. So we went for more 'Shao-La'.
Group Photo... This is a very nicely done up restuarant. The interior deco is very very pretty. Okie, this photo looks common.. But the whole set-up has a very 'old chinese imperial' feel to it.
My dinner... This is Roasted Geese and Char Siew with ermm.. not too sure what noodles. But... This is really delicious!
Actually the main focus of this photo is not us girls.. See that sign there that wrote "Zhou Sheng Sheng".. We can be assured that the Zhous in HK are rich. Every other alternate shop, you can find either a "Zhou Sheng Sheng" or "Zhou Da Fu" Jewellery shop.. When we say alternate shop, it is really alternate. Like one on EVERY street...
After dinner, we made our way to... Mong Kok! Okie.. Ignore that extra standing there.. He said 'they' are of the same color, so he deserve a place in the photo... -_-"
Look at the crowd!! This is a Thursday nite... Its sooo crowded!
This is what I really like about HK. I like all the colorful signboard...
After walking for the entire day, we decided to take a break. At Xi Liu Shan!
And here... I had one of the best deserts I ever tasted... I ordered some mango, strawberry and the 'fen yuan' with mango gelato.
Is damn delicious can... =p You will see us returning to Xu Liu Shan over the next few days, just for this baby...
After a long day.. We went back to the hotel... *tired*
End of Day 1.
