[1] LV Brea PM

Okie.. I know this is a little out of budget. Even for the the Present from Myself to Me. But well.. a girl always has room to dream and fantasize right. ^^ I have love the Vernis range from LV and this is perfect with a handle and shoulder strap.

This could have well been my Bag of the Year for 2011.. but I have promise Boyfriend that I will no longer buy such an expensive Bag of the Year for the next 3 years so that I could have 1 Giantic Purchase when I turn 30.

So.. there goes my Brea.

[2] Camera

My 小白 is on the verge of death last year but somehow he is still doing fine and has been of service to me till date. ^^ But well.. I do not mind a new camera with better functions.

小白's cousin!! Sony TX5.. This is Pretty can go into water you know!! So li hai.. but well, not as if I am a fan of water. But well.. it doesnt kill that it has more function right. ^^ And it comes in a Pretty shade of Pink!! And this.. is Bestie's Birthday Pressie last year. I am not a fan of this Lumic LX3's exterior. Its BLACK and err.. not pretty. But it takes excellent photos!! So well.. give and take a little.

Keke.. yupz!! I want a PS3.. coz I want to play FF13.

[Conclusion]

So.. thats the wishlist for 2010. They are all pretty big ticket items; its not helping that I spent quite a bit on Boyfriend's Birthday and is trying very hard to save up now to full up the gaps.

Weekend has came and pass with a wink of the eye.. It has been another eventful weekend for me.

Friday -> Boyfriend pick from work -> Head to Cathay -> Boyfriend's Company Event -> Toy Story 3 in 3D -> Bump into KL at Plaza Singapura -> Ponggol Nasi Lemak -> Home Sweet Home.


Saturday -> Regular morning jog -> Nap nap -> Boyfriend pang-seyed me for Good Wood Park's High Tea Buffet -> 小倩's Gay Boyfriend pick me up from Home -> Dropped us at Seng Kang for Grocery Shopping with Bestie & KL -> Headed back to Bestie's House -> Got all domesticated as we prepare all the Food in record time -> Wait for the late-comers -> 4 Best Friends + Boyfriends/ Partner -> Steamboat!! -> Head to KTV just before midnight -> Home Sweet Home.


Sunday -> Boyfriend pick me from Home early in the morning -> Brunch at Redhill -> Journey to the Far West -> Arrived at Science Centre -> Pixar Exibition (its very good!!) -> Head down to IMM -> Jurong Hill Top for my Favorite Teppanyaki Dinner ->Since already so West liao -> Had a tour around NTU Campass to see how Boyfriend spend 4 memorable years -> Home Sweet Home with Boyfriend.

1. I requested for some documents from my Insurance Agent but I have yet to recieve it after 1 week. I am missing my old agent as the new one seems to be a little unreliable... *sian*


2. I think I am gaining weight.. I wonder if it is the PMS syntoms or I have really eaten too much again.

3. I am seriously feeling very very tired now.. and am considering off-setting my Leave so I can leave the Office on the 16th July instead of 21st July.


4. Boyfriend has been a sweetie and has downloaded and sent me many songs last night. I 撒娇ed and said I am very tired but I want the songs so he did it for me eventually. ^^


5. And I made a side bet with Boyfriend to see whether Brazil or Spain would go further up the Ladder in World Cup. I think I will win you know... GO BRAZIL!!


6. I bought some comfort food (reads: MacDonald) this morning to counter that dreadful mirgraine and the rain.. so I am so going to eat that now.

Bestie's Birthday

Meet up with the Girls after work on 18th June at Orchard.. I made reservation at Mamarlade Pantry @ Ion. Well.. I think the Food could be better for the price we are paying; but nevertheless, I think the service is good and the company is priceless.

Pretty flowers for a Pretty lady.. I am rather upset with Far East Flora for a little boo-boo they made, and QH even reminded me on Monday morning to make sure I call Far East Flora and complain. But anyway.. I have to say the Roses are pretty. I like Purple Roses you know!! After the meal.. we meet up with Bestie's beau (Botak) and Boyfriend swing by Orchard to pick us up. So all 6 (err.. not very small size) adults squeezed into 小黄 and we make our way back to Bliss.. Yupz, we are boring people with no where else to go. Wishing my Darling here all the best thing in the world.. ^^ All the Boyfriends cane down and together chill out at Bliss till well after midnight.

Today is a Special Day!! Some 20+ years ago.. A very Beautiful Baby Girl is born. And as fate has it.. I manage to befriend this Pretty Girl donning the Blue Pinafore 20 years ago. We did not start off as the Best of Friends; but rather.. Enemies. How we compete with each other to finish 抄写 and how many of that Ugly Bookmarks given by 黄老师.

How we got posted to the same class for the whole of our Primary School Life and getting into the same ECA - Brownie. And oh.. I'll never forget how we got chased by that Big Dog on our way to school for Brownie one morning. How we got into the same Secondary School and once again.. got posted into the same class for 4 years. Many many memories during that 4 years that would fill up many many A4 pages. The most memoriable would be at Bedok Cinema; and oh.. how could I forget the ever most malu one of all.. where we got into a dead end at Taka when QH is meeting some new friends.

Is it the same group.. I think 1 of the new friend became your First Boyfriend. ^^

We exceeded expectations.. and all of us did better in O Levels then the Teachers thought. ^^ All entered Poly and got into a Course of our choice.. thou we all made new Friends, but we are did not allow the Friendship to disolve into thin air. We know we are all not too far away from each other; just see how big is that Temasek Poly. ^^Slowly.. we entered into Working World. Jobs, Family and Love.. everything came in and out of our Life; but Friends are here to stay. Thanks for being there for me as I complain about my work and with every change in job; thanks for taking me out for dinner when I have issues at home; and lastly.. thanks for holding on to my hand when I fall out of Love and for giving me your blessing when I've found the Love again and telling me 你很放心把我交给他. On this Special Day.. I want to wish you a very Happy Birthday!! You will find you Dream Job soon and I'll pray hard the next 1.5 year ahead will not be a turbulent one. ^^

Thanks for being a Friend for the past 20 years.. it is really with God's Blessing that I found you.

Its been quite a while since I last post something up.. been busy at work. Yupz.. you heard it right; I AM busy at work. Just a quick random update and I gotta get back to work.

[1] Office is terribly cold once again..
And I am craving for all hot and spicy soupy stuff.. I have a terrible work environment. Putting me with all the Polar Bears and Penguins is just so wrong.

[2] My heart goes all out to my Dearest Friend..
I know she is going through a very rough patch now and all I can do for her now is to head down to her office after work and offer her that hug and to hold her hand, telling her it is alright.. What dont kill us will make us stronger Darling. You are so brave and I am so proud of you; and I am just here when you need me.

[3] Played mahjong over the weekend..
And for the first time I lost big time.. must be coz Boyfriend is not playing. Ermm.. did he always lose to me on purpose then?

[4] Watched my first Word Cup this year..
At Belly Man's house.. his mum prepared Chicken Curry and I had the yummiest prata to go with it. Watching that ball game with a big group of man (and their girlfriends who look very very bored) turned out to be quite fun.

[5] I hate my boss (Active)..
He is giving me alot of problem lately.. I am trying to work things out for his personal agenda and when the plans dont go too well, he gave me that sacastic tone and start giving me nasty comments. I so hate it when he calls me in at 4:56pm (just 4min to my off-work timing and I gotta run to catch the company transport) to do some very misc stuff; did I mention he'll sure tell me to do this before I go.

[6] I am trying very hard to look for a job now..
Coz I really had enough of Active, the pathetic 2.5% increment and workng with the Polar Bears. I do not mind any job.. anything even with a pay-cut just so I can get out of this place ASAP. Its good to come to work this morning and seeing Boyfriend giving me a whole list of job listing that he carefully filter out for me.

[7] I think Boyfriend is thinking of building his Future with me..
Coz he talked Houses with me over the weekend. Not just the casual chats we used to have like (new 4rm from HDB or big 5rm but resale is better); but the actual act of logging in to check how much CPF we have and narrowing down what we can afford and where is available for sale now.

Part 2 (6th June 2010)

I was actually more excited about the execution of Part 2 as more people are involved and that makes it alot harder to roll out. But nevertheless, I think the whole plan went on well and what matters most is.. Boyfriend is really happy. ^^

It took me much effort to track down some key perssonels from each different group of Friends (Thank God for Facebook) and from there communications via Facebook, MSN and emails starts kicking in. It was definately a challenge to gather so many of his Friends behind his back.. But after I got an estimated headcount, I start to short list the venue that I could hold the Party.

I contacted no less then 5-6 places.. and in the end, I chose Urban Spoon. They are not the cheapest, but they gave me the best menu. I do not want to serve the Guest with frozen deep-fired items that seems so much like a Kids Meal; and also there is a big Car Park with high turn-over rate.

Due to the huge number of Guests invited, there are numerous times that news of the Party accidentally leaks out to him. He told me he caught a glimsp of my email when I was checking it at the Singapore Airport while waiting for the flight to Hong Kong. The system at the Boarding Area is real slow and could not shut down when I saw him approaching. He said he saw Hot Teacher email-ing me and that's kind of weird. ^^

I had a hard time tricking him to Jalan Kayu.. he got pretty angry after we walked the stretch of Jalan Kayu (too early so gotta kill some time) in the hot sun; and after which I told him I no longer wants to eat Prata. I finally have no choice.. but to tell him there is a Surprise Party for him.

His reaction: I need to go home and change.

-__-" So we quickly went back to his place and got his Baby Brother to pass us a top. He asked me who I invited.. and kinda freak out that I actually invited so many people.

We finally reach the place.. just before 6pm. ^^ There is already quite a crowd and everyone seems to be in a chirpy mood. That's when Boyfriend told us.. the biggest leak of leaks. He was sitting at Kitty Man (the one in Pink) cubicle in the Office.. and there is this 1 email sitting in his Outlook Mailbox that caught his attention.. "Liwei's Surprise Party". But Boyfriend had thought that the Surprise Party would take place the day before, hence when it did not.. he thought its just a suggestion that did not take place.

Special Thanks to 5511 for helping with the co-ordinating of the people from Work.. and Thanks for coming down despite having to rush off to a Wedding Dinner after the Party. ^^

Pals from NTU Hall 1..

Hot Teacher gave me the contacts to all the People from School.. I then sms-ed each and everyone of them and got their email addresses to send them the invites. 5511.. is not only his Pal at Work; but also from the same Hall. ^^

I have arrange for some light refreshments (Sussages wrapped in Bacon, Tuna on Cucumber and Meat Spring Rolls) to be served around while the Guest slowly comes in. And at 6pm.. the Buffet started.

The Cream of Mushroom is very well-recieved.. I had a bowl and I loved it. There are plenty of Mushrooms and it just taste so good. There are also Apple and Orange Salad, Pineapple Fried Rice, Lemon Grass Pan-fried Dory, Char-boiled Chicken, Roasted Lamb with Rosemary Baby Potato.. and Fries (specially for Baby Athena). I also ordered a Fruits Bread Pudding for Desserts.

Boyfriend's biggest pressie of the nite: A 23inch Samsung Tee Vee!! I knew he had wanted to change the 14inch TV in his room.. so I told his Secondary School Friend. But I had only remembered to tell them this important piece of news just days before the Party.

So sorry to Belly Man.. who is tasked to find the TV. And his GF - NiuNiu.. had been to task to bid for close to 20 Mighty Muggs on eBay prior to the TV. She said she has won quite a bit of the bids.. and she got scolded by the Seller when she told him she no longer wants it. :x

Boyfriend with Baby Ryan.. he loves Baby Ryan to bits and pieces. But what are the 2 of them looking at.. ^^The Party went on well.. many sits around catching up. Boyfriend is really very very happy. ^^Boyfriend with the Girls from Secondary School.. Pretty Designer has been very very helpful in helping with the co-ordination with the Girls. ^^ With the Boys from Secondary School.. ^^ And then.. its cake cutting time!!

I ordered an Angie the Choice cake with a Round Boy's Face as.. I think it looks like Boyfriend. ^^ And the candles.. I bought it from BKK.; pretty right??

Boyfriend with the Cake.. he is seriously very happy the entire night. That smile not once left his face.. ^^Us... ^^Asking him to make a wish after we sung him the Happy Birthday Song.. look at that face; I wonder what wish he made. He refuse to tell me; and said 我说出来就不灵了. The candles are burning out fast.. ^^The few Guys from Work.. 5511 and a few left early. The whole bunch from Uni + their Wifeys & GFs.. ^^ (But why am I not in the picture)With the Secondary School Friends.. Baby Ryan is already sleeping. ^^Everyone is telling him the Face Cake really looks like him.. So Boyfriend tried to comb up his Hair, just like the Face Cake. Speaking of Hair.. Boyfriend said he didnt gel up his hair so not handsome.. si bei hiao leh. Tsk tsk.. Cut cake cut cake.. then after that I took over. More Pressies.. Boyfriend recieved this Big Transformer from some of his Uni Pals. I almost freaked out when he said he wants to start collecting it.. CCY's fault!! 怂恿 him to start collecting new series of Toys.. not cheap sommore leh!! The Party ended close to 9pm and together with his Uni Pals we headed down to OCC for Bowling. Yupz.. Bdae Boi is playing while the Girlfriend just sits around. Out of 7 players.. 4 came with their personal bowls. They really meant business. Well.. lucky I am not playing.. 他们不是Spare，就是Strike。。都不是泛泛之辈。Other then Roomie's Girlfriend, none scored less then 100 and with 1 who score more then 200. Scary can.. They all really know how to play one!!

So with that.. it ended all the Birthday Celebration for Boyfriend's 30th Birthday. He told me it has been a real memorable one for him and he really had a very very good weekend.

And oh.. my little boy said he slept only at 3am on Sunday coz he was too happy and excited to go to bed.. cute. ^^

Its been one tiring but fantatic weekend!! The plans for Boyfriend's Birthday went went.. well, quite well. Glad that it has been one true memorable one for him.

Part 1 (5th June 2010)

Had asked Boyfriend to come pick me up at 11:45am on Saturday morning.. But ended up I made him waited coz I am not ready yet.. So anyway, this is our first destination!!

I made reservation for 2 at Jing @ One Fullerton for their Ala Carte Buffet since Boyfriend adore Dim Sum..

We got a nice corner sofa seat to ourselves as I made reservations early.. ^^Boyfriend got BIG HEAD!!! No wonder He likes the Muggs.. 大头一族!Boyfriend waste no time.. faster flip through the menu and we started ordering.. Me in my pretty new top!! Purposely bought a new top to celebrate Boyfriend's Birthday - keke.. I just need that one excuse to buy 1 more new top. First round.. Boyfriend loves that 叉烧酥!! He said the Pastry is done in the way he likes it; but I prefer the filling more. And not forgetting the Salted Egg Soft-shell Crab, which is another must-try!! Despite the Good Food, service was rather slow.. But its Boyfriend's Birthday you know!! So we're in a jolly mood and it didnt bother us one bit. So I made Boyfriend open up his Pressie while waiting for the Food to come.. ^^

I really got no idea what to buy.. so ended up buying something practical that He'll use. Boyfriend was chanting to me while opening the Pressie.. "I dont use atas pen, I dont use organiser".. But Mont Blanc sells more then just Pens and Organisers you know.. keke.

And after which.. we continue eating. I am so in-love with that Fried Scallops!! I got no idea what is that string-look-alike thing that is wrapping the scallop, but this is yummillious!! They do not Peking Duck, but substitude it with Chicken.. but it is still very good - Boyfriend likes that dish. The rest of the Dishes were okie, the Drunken Prawns is big and fresh.. but its the Wasabi Prawns that left and impression. I simply stuff the whole prawn into my mouth, and that wasabi choke me till I teared. Next up.. we uncovered another gem. The Sea Bass in Superior Soy Suace - the fish is so fresh and tender and a perfect match with the soy sauce. We had no less then 3 serving for this.. Boyfriend loves it to the max!!

The rest of the dishes were so-so; but I think its more of we're rather full by then. Boyfriend is making fun of my 小肚肚... -__- But this is not the end.. we had a Chilli Crab (yupz.. at 2pm) all to ourselves. A little too spicy for me and this dish dont really works with me, but nevertheless.. it does make an impression.

A scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream is the perfect way to end the meal. ^^

Took a slow stroll along the River.. Boyfriend said he has never took a photo with ther Merlion; I was teasing him to do so as to make his 30th year in Singapore; but he just refuse to do it. But tell you a 小秘密, I have never taken a photo with the Merlion too. ^^ I had plan to head down to MINT Museum after the heavy meal for a walk.. I even manage to get the Toy'r'us Star Card for a 15% discount. But well.. Birthday Boy said he is feeling sleepy; so we headed back to his place for a nap.

I was rather Thankful for that actually.. keke. Napping on a Saturdays after Lunch seemed to be my routine activity now.

Boyfriend forced me out of bed and reluctantly.. we head out for Dinner. We're early and manage to get a lot just outside the Restaurant.. there is a mini Parrot Park just beside. Err, rather scary actually coz they are all not tied up and they are quite huge in size. Dinner is at Chang Korean BBQ @ Demspey.. Shortly after ordering.. we were served an assortment of small dishes. The Tofu is goood. ^^Some.. Premium Beef Ribs which cost half the bill. And the Marinated Pork.. which turns out to be sweeter that it is like a meatier version of our Bak Kwa. But the taste does well with me; I like it alot!! The waitress did all the BBQ-ing for us.. the beef is really worth the price. I am not a fan of Beef, but the meat does not have the usual Beefy taste that I dislike.For someone who dont eat at Vegetable at all; I am even rather surprise that I finished up all the Vegetables served for the BBQ all by myself.. I am loving this raw veggie and I dont even mind wrapping just rice and the sauce and stuff the entire thing into my mouth. ^^

Anyway.. this is really good. ^^The Marinated Pork.. which is so good. Seriously.. no more Seoul Garden for me from now onwards.

Boyfriend.. who is super not full after the meal as he didnt want to order too much worrying that the bill will be a little too big for me. After our meal at Chang, we left the place and took a slow walk around Demspey.

And we headed down to Vivo for some Kopi and Soy Bean Milk.. before we catch a show. Boyfriend commented that all my planning is all over the place (One Fullerton - Bugis - Dempsey - Vivo City), but well.. all down town right. Its not like I plan something in Tampines followed by Jurong. :p

This is how.. Boyfriend spend his 30th Birthday. But that's not all.. there is just a little something more plan for him; coming up the following day. ^^
