X'mas Gathering 1 - Poly Friends
Venue: Jerry's BBQ & Grill (92 Club Street)
Time: 5pm (But ALL are late... Dinner commerce only at 7pm)
I made a booking for 12 that day.. Read the reviews at 'Hungrygowhere', and find the reviews are quite good.. =) But stay away if you're a vegetarian... Most items on the menu are Meat, mean and more Meat..
HL reached early... So I went down early to accompany her... We are the early birds!!
JT was out shopping for a X'mas present her his girlfriend.. So he meet me at Cityhall early to accompany me down to Club Street...
And this is like... 5pm. And from here, the 3 of us waited... and waited... and waited.
We're hungry... So we ordered starters to share... This is Deepfried Mushrooms. Very nice!
By 6+pm, Mao and PJ came.. And AS came too.. Err.. Dont know what pose is AS and JT up too... But looks kinda weird to me.
They ordered some beer and we had fries to go with it...
Finally... by 7+pm, the whole group is here... 11 of us. Our starters - Buffalo Wings. This is supposed to be the 'Must-Try' items here.. They have it in 3 level of spice level and we ordered 小辣.. Which is still too 辣 for me... AS asked me to wash it in water, haha.. This is something I used to do when I'm like 7 years old.

Take 1: XW got disturbed by JT's flying corn...
Take 2: I can assure you this is a 100% candid shot. XW is laughing at the flying corn, photographer ask HL to not show her scary face which she really obliged, PJ is laughing at the conversation between photographer and HL, EH and myself are kinda pissed as we both are on a half-squating position, and we have to retake the photo again due to the flying corn.

This is the Main I shared with JT... Triple Something. The ribs is very good!
And can I just say what a lucky girl ZN is to have JT as a boyfriend... JT is such a charming guy! While I was taking photos with the girls, he 'undressed' the Baked Potato for me, and 'extracted' out the kernel from the corn out for me! Super sweet of me... I am impressed! But sorry girls... This guy is taken. =p

This year we have things a little different... We have randomly assigned (with the help of Excel) each person to buy a present for a specific someone.

And AC's Present to JT... WHAT!?!?! A stinky old towel? But look at how happy the guys are over a stinky old towel...
Nah... Hehe, thats a hoax. This is then the real thing!!
And did you realised... I did not recieved any Present!! Hehe, the best is always saved till the last... SQ couldnt make it that night, but its okie!! Good stuff are always worth waiting. I'll arrange to meet up with SQ and HL real soon.
And with the Group photo, we all made our way home. Glad that there are more then enough cars that night to send each and everyone of us back. It's been 5 years since we have left school. From SBS to cars, from hawker to restaurant, we all came a long way... Stay in touch friends, dont let Time dilute the special bond between us.
It is definitely a night full of good food, alchohol and laughter. I'm not sure about the rest, but other then the 2 hours wait, I had an excellent night out.
