Just came back from a Long Lunch with my Department people.. This coming Friday is MFD's (why mfd.. private joke between me and Boyfriend) Birthday.. and coz we're on leave this Friday, we had an early celebration for her.
Lunch is at Bark Cafe @ Changi.. Near the Changi Prison Museum, this is a quaint little corner nicely tucked away. I have heard of this place for ages, but never have the chance to try it out.. Boyfriend was pretty upset as this is one of the place in his list to bring me to.
The food.. is so-so only; nothing fantastic in my opinion. Even the Wings that has wonderful reviews was just so-so too. Anyway.. I do not usually do Lunch with my Department people, hence this is a very good catching up time.I was lamenting on the culture shock when I first got in as my colleuages are all waaaay older (reads: in their 40s) then me. I told them my Friends has colleauges who go 郭富城's Concert together (reads: QH) or colleauges that go on drinking parties (reads: Bestie).. but me. =( I mean.. So Snr Mgr ask me which is the next concert I want to see; we'll fix that as the department outing (which in the first place; we dont even have one). Hahaha.. very funny. Imagine going to 郑秀文's concert with colleauges that's our Parent's age.. will they sing-along or stand up and dance together with you?? Keke.. but nevertheless, sweet of him to suggest that. =)
