The best thing that came out of covid is.. i cultivated a love for walking. I got to spend some time alone, or quality time with a friend chatting.. i got to slow down n appreciate nature, or discover an alley or kopi diam hidden somewhere out there. And the best thing.. it helps take away some extra pounds off my hips.
So.. i'm clearing leave n decided to kick start my long holiday with a loooong walk.
Really loooong ok. I started off at Punggol at 8am, n ended around 5.30pm at the far west. My watch ran out of batt, so some distance was lost before i turned on the tracker on my phone. Thou so, i managed to record something 33km.
Did almost the entire C2C, from CP 8 to CP2. The hardest part.. ermm.. its a tough fight between the construction going on at AMK n the slope (that google map n npark fucked up n led me to the wrong route) at Bukit Batok Nature Park.
Love doing stuff like these.. will try to do it again soon!
