八月 - 一溜烟的就不见了

 This is such a busy month at work.. 我都不懂整个八月我都在干嘛.

Did a National Day Breakfast in the office.. 

Went all the way out, coz my boss said this is a much needed boost after the whole retrenchment exercise. 

I even ordered the whole waffle live station can~

As if breakfast is not enough - Finance also hosted a National Day Lunch. Yar we are the new adopted kids of Finance.. 现在什么都有我们的份. Blessed to have my Admin 小妹, she practically executed this on her own.. 

我真的忙死了. 

Mr. Pond came right after the National Day.. executed an APAC Townhall for him. 

Then its Parents Day!

不懂哪里冒出来的.

I only know Mothers' n Fathers' Day.

But WW's school went all out with the kids' handmade tea break for us complete with a performance. I
 was like crying while she was singing n dancing. These things always make me 很感动. 

Then.. awww.. my ex-boss was in town. He was in Kyoto for a business trip, and bought a ticket to Singapore for the weekend. The Scottish man want to eat local food - so East Coast Lagoon Hawker it is! Have not been there for ages, i didn't realized the food there.. 很好吃了嘞!  

Went for 2nd round - i have not seen these pharma folks since I left. Coz we had such an amazing boss, this team is a super close knitted group. We work so hard and played even harder together back then. 

Had too much of a drink, ww had a 9am class the following day - 我是差点死掉~

Continued my Specialist journey.. 真的老了啦~ after my health check this year, its one specialist after another. Iron level at 9, was on iron pills for a month.. n it went up to 10.  And i had the full side effect from the iron - the nausea n bloating that comes with it.. 

And since I finally found time to WFH last week - so its back to the lunch time gym. Enjoying the inclined walk, it kills off the stress n calories. 一石二鸟! 

And while Fatty went all in with BB for her SA2 (which she did extremely well! She scored AL5 for 4 subjects.. full marks for Maths! I didnt know full marks for Maths is possible). So that leaves me with WW.. not complaining.. I love this little bunny of mine. We went for so many Mummy-WW dates. 

Colleague jio-ed my favorite nasi padang, so while queuing i went over to buy my favorite cake thats right opposite. And they had these old school custard puff that day. Turned out to be even better then the cake! I regretted buying only 1 box.

This is a catch-up August.. I spent 8 years with these guys.. 他们陪着我买屋子，结婚，搬家，生孩子. 这一路上都有他们的足迹. Miss the days Jac buys 8 pairs of shoes during lunch.. Miss the times we suan-ed Pat over everything.. Its a short lunch.. but so thankful for you guys. 

Been doing alot of late nights lately.. Coz Mr. Brooks is over at the US. But also glad to have him not in SG so I get a breather~ 

Did another JB with Qian before the month ends. Shes always my safe zone, on the same wavelength n never judging for what suah ku or impossible acts. We once again 为国争光 - bought back alot of famous amos cookies for teachers day.

So anyway.. busy August.

And now.. looking forward to September!
