2008 Year End Trip

Day 1 (Singapore - Taipei)

My trip officially started when I left the office at 4.45pm for the Airport. Mum was fantastic!! She drove down to office with my luggage to send me down to the Airport...

Checked in a luggage and handcarried my lappie in Gucci. The luggage is 14.3kg even before I depart Singapore... =x

And from here... My journey begins.

My flight is schedule to take off at 6.30pm. Just in time to see sun set from the aircraft... =)

This might sound a little mad... But I actually like aircraft meal.. I got Fish with Potato.

Reached Hongkong Airport at 11.30pm... Got to head off for my transit to Taipei. I've got 1hr transit time.. But the queue to clear immigration was so long that the ground crew was running around trying to find me to and guide me to another immigration area closer to the boarding gate and with no queue. I.. panic can.

But nevertheless... I made it to the Plane. Supper was served. Nice dumpling with sweet soy sauce. I like it so much that I carried 2 bottles of the said sauce back to Singapore. =p

Landed at Taipei at 12.30am. I am super tired by then. Found the counter for the 飞狗 coach to get me to Hotel. But they informed me that there are no more direct coach to the Hotel as its late. So they advice me to take the coach to Ximending and then a cab to the Hotel. The staffs are friendly... One of them even offered to send me the Hotel.

While waiting for the coach to set off... The lonely roads of Taipei at 1am. The driver was extremely helpful... After I alighted the bus, he hailed down a cab for me and gave the cabby the instructions to my Hotel. On the way to Ximending, I fall asleep in the coach. Waking up to my HP ringing coz Bestie is checking out my well-being... She said I got her real worried when I didnt pick up the call. *Sorry girl* But you know... I felt so loved. =)

And this is where I'll be staying (alone) for the next 4 days. Not really luxury, but the size is good for one. It's close to 3am by the time I settled in, I'm extremely tired by then... So after I took the photos, I promptly fall asleep.
