Xin's 26th Birthday Part 2
DT picked me up after work on Tuesday... He wanted me to pick a pressent for him; hence we went to Orchard. I thought we will be having Dinner at Orchard since we're there; but nope... he had a little surprise intalled. =)
After picking up the pressent, we went back to the car and he drove to Dempsey... I told him I'm still rather full and could do with Ben & Jerrys for Dinner. But he told me 'Nope', we'll have a proper Dinner instead.
He had a glass of Red while I have a soft-drink. We're given 2 options for water and we go for still; its one whole bottle type loh. =_=
Pretty yellow roses in full bloom on every table... me like! 
Bread basket while we're still browsing throught the menu. 
He... asked me if I wanted Minestrone or Clam Chowder; I opt for Clam Chowder... and this is what the 'Clam Chowder'. He damn sotong loh, menu wrote clam soup and he took it for granted its Clam Chowder. 
Spagetti for Mains... He had wanted Veal Meat; but I err... objected. I am not a vegetarian and I'm not going all Holy and try protecting animals. But Sharkfins and Veal are no-no to me. So ended up he got no choice and ordered pasta like me... 
I'm seriously very full; and the waitress suddenly came up with a piece of chocolate cake with candle for me... =) Very sweet of DT to arrange this with the waitress... But hor, haha... we both had a very hard time stuffing this piece of cake down.
I have known DT for 10 years; and I'm really glad that after 10 long years we are still such good friends.
