Dear Bloggie,

2008 Year End Trip

Day 6 (Hongkong)

HF's house is strategically located on top of a Shopping Mall, which is just on top of the MTR Station. She had a small cozy place which is perfect for one. To enter the apartment, you first have to get through no more then ermm... 3 I think security gentries. Perfect for a girl living alone. To protect the reputation of all 3 girls, no photos of the house will be posted.. Coz we did make quite a mess out of the place after we invaded the place... =)

HF left for work early in the morning... She has the habit of switching on the TV while preparing to go work... Its rather loud and that wakes me up, hence I was up since 8am. But Bestie was still sleeping, hence I made use of the time to catch up on 珠光宝气. Left the house slightly after noon to go down to Central and find HF for Lunch... I'm... hungry. Hence we alighted one stop earlier to find food and to take a nice stroll down sice we're early.

Bestie insisted on this shot with my Handsome at the MTR... -_-"

Tall and massiave building we came across while walking... Okie, there are 'obstacles' that slowed down our walk that wasnt shown here... And I'm refering to Ferragamo, Ballys and etc.

40min later, we reached the place we're supposed to meet HF. But this workaholic is late... We stood on the street and waited. And... she brought us to 大快活 (I cant really remember) for Lunch... Ermm... The food is so-so. But after a quick meal, Bestie and I make a bee-line... to my all-time favorite H&M at Central, the flagship store in Hongkong . =)

This is at the fitting room at H&M... This is my attire of the day. A little Black Dress with black leggies and kitten heels. Do not ask me how much I spent there... I do not even dare to pay cash for my purchase at H&M as the amount is ermm.. not little.

Does this look familiar? This La Belle is located in IFC... One look at this shop front and I told Bstie that I have to take a photo of it... This is the La Belle that 'Constance worked at before she married Terrance..' Ermm... You'll understand what I'm talking about if you watched 珠光宝气.

The bridge connecting IFC to other major landmark.. As the day was spent in Central, we visited most of the Designer boutiques in the area. I bought my LV 2009 Agenda refill and was on the verge of buying Ferragamo pumps which is on sale... Major damage was done... on this fateful day.

Saw a pretty X'mas tree along the way... Its X'mas eve!! Of coz I have to take a photo with a X'mas tree right... And yupz, by the looks of the bags hanging on my arms, plenty of shopping were done before the sun set... =p

This is the place where we'll be dining...

A little cafe surrounded by all the designer boutiques...

The Landmark Cafe...

Menu of the day..

HF and Bestie...

Bestie and me...

Me again... While waiting for food to be served.

Had an Orange Juice... Recently on a healthy route, prefer Juices to Sodas..

Appetizer... This is Beef on Greens. For someone like me who doesnt fancy Beef, I have to say this is very good. =)

The Soup... If memory doesnt fail me, this should be the Lobster Bistro or something... =p Its not that bad, but unfortunately I always prefer white creamy soup... =)

There are 3 mains to choose from, and I've got the Fish with Crab. Ermm... Somehow, I do no exactly fancy it... And I left my Crab half finished...

Desert.... =) Honey Sponge Cake. This is good... In fact, I've this craving for Sponge Cake with Fresh Cream now... In fact, this is my favorite serving for the night...

And I've got a Tea to end off our X'mas Eve Dinner.

Since its still early after Dinner, and its tough for us to navigate through the crowds of LKF and Soho with our many shopping bags. So we went to the Bar at Mandarin Oreintal (I think...) which is just beside Landmark.

The ambience is good.. They have this guy who plays clarinet live and this reminds me of QH.

Ermm... I do not remember what I ordered... But its some cocktail.

I thought we would have counted down at that Bar, but HF said shes tired and wanted to head home... So at 11pm, we head back to her apartment. Bestie said shes hungry and bought some snacks from a store opposite the apartment. And just at that moment, people on the streets are counting down to X'mas! So we joined in a little... And I gave Bestie a big great hug as the clock struck 12, right beside that rubbish bin you see here.

Since the first day I arrived, Bestie was pretty hooked on the Doraemon Sticker by 7-11. Purchase of HKD20 entitled you to one sticker, and upon collecting 10, you get to have a Doraemon plushie. Sticker bought more stuff from 7-11 and is pasting the stickers onto the card...

Ta-dah!! She collected all 10 stickers!!

And she got her first box... It turned out to be... 阿福. -_-"

This is how I celebrated my X'mas eve... Counting down by the rubbish bin. Not exactly my ideal way of down-counting, but this is definately memoriable and I believe Bestie and myself will remember it for many years to come...
