Dear Bloggie,

Xin is feeling nostalgic all of a sudden.

25th August… Another normal day. =)

8 years back, this is the day LP and I became an item… I cannot believe its 8 years ago.

Well, its not that I have anymore feelings here. It’s just looking back at history, I can assure you I have let go of this relationship and sincerely wish LP and CT happiness.

Nope, this is not going to be a post bisecting that relationship of mine. I have no wish to dig into details and analysis the lost and gain and all the emotion attachment. Just, another random post. =)

Read an article forwarded to me by AC this morning. Well, happiness… Do you think we should just sit and let destiny takes its own course, and wait for the ONE to appear in front of us? Or do you think we should actively go find and fight for our happiness?

But one thing AC said, I fully agree. The next time I have happiness in my hand, I will hold on to it tightly. I will fight all uphill battles to make sure I never lose the happiness again.

谢谢你,1975。 =)

Dear Bloggie,

Celebration for Emi's Birthday last Sunday!
We are due to meet at 1pm for Lunch at LYDC @ Wheelock. But well, lunch started at only 3pm. o_0

This is a damn classic photo, without the Birthday girl.. Can see that all of us are very happy w/o the birthday girl.. But why are we so happy? Only those in the photos will know.
Okie, the birthday girl... Happy Birthday EH!
After lunch, we went for KTV at Marina Square. The buffet at KBox is good.

Its really a good quality time spent with good friends!
Dear Bloggie,

This is the Toto on 8th August. The 8million bucks Toto..

And this... is my lucky ticket!

And this... is the Birthday, Singapore Pool gave me.. =)

Thank you Singapore Pools... =)
Dear Bloggie,

Hong Kong Day 5

This is my last day in HK...

QH and me at the Cha Cen Teng beside our hotel..
Its like 10am, look at the breakfast crowd.. They are all very well-dressed. Guys are all in suits.

My breakfast... We left our luggage at the concerige and we took the MTR out... Jordan is the MTR nearest to our Hotel.

We arrange to meet LP.. and LP brought to this Korean BBQ eatery...

This... is damn nice. VERY nice. =)

This meal is really delicious. I'll definitely want to go back the next time I visit HK.

LP, CT and me.

And finally... I have to eat this before I leave HK... My favorite Mango from Xu Liu Shan. The Mango Gelato and the small white balls are REALLY good.

After the meal, we went back to the Hotel to retreive our luggage. And yupz, this is the Hotel we stayed for the past 4 days.. =)

And after that, we took the bus to Airport. Which... I need to complain about someone again. To cut the story short, someone is not being a gentleman, left us girls struggling with all the luggage and the bags of Lao Po Bing up the bus... While he, just went up the bus like this. And instructions are given to him by his friend, to help us girls.. But, he simply ignore us and went up the bus, Alone.

Me and QH at the Airport, waiting to check in...

Our last meal in HK... well, not that hungry. So we just ate some dumplings..

Ermm... We went shopping in Airport, and we're the last to board the flight... And finally, we're back in Singapore.

And finally... Home Sweet Home. =)

Dear Bloggie,
HK Day 4
My first meal of the day... Breakfast! This is at the Cha Cen Teng beside our Hotel.
After the meal, we proceed to the Harbour City Shopping Center, where they have all the factory outlets shops. If you're complaining about the distance you have to walk from the North-East line to the East-West line in Singapore's MRT, then think twice. HK's MTR interchange is SO huge that the distance is at least twice of ours.

QH and me. We got this pair of shoes in KL... =)

And finally, we reach Tung Chung. This is really really far...

We did some shopping there, I went back with a pair of Adidas and a Roxy top. The stuff are cheap, its really worth the trip! After we're done at the Harbour City, we took the MTR back to Mongkok... And there we see..

A few roads was closed, and there are plenty of Uniform personnels around. Just as we're wondering what went wrong... We got to see the news over dinner that this is the biggest fire that HK has experience in the past 16 years. 4 were killed and 55 injured in the big fire. =(

We went back to the 18 storey Shopping Mall as JJ has wanted to pick up a jacket he has seen previously. We splitted ways with the guys, and we went to this Desert Shop.

We shared a Banana Crepe desert, and I had almond tea with Dumpling, QH had ermm... Chi Ma Hu with Hong Dou Sha I think.. Its yummy.

The Tang Yuan... Is really yummy. The skin is so soft.

We meet up with the guys shortly after, and went for dinner... I really ate ALOT during this trip.. I had wanted to eat Steamboat! So we ended up at... (BTW, someone wasnt too happy with the dinner idea, and was sulking tru out. I some how reached my limit, so I didnt even bother to pacify him... So, no photo of the guys.)

This is ala-carte style buffet...

JT love the soup base so much that he actually bought the pre-pack soup base back home.

Well... other then someone sulking at one corner sort of ruin my appetite, overall... The steamboat is good. =)

We walk around in Mongkok afte the meal... In search of this.

Chou Tou Fu. Nope... Xin didnt try. I'm not challenging enough to try this. =p

The crowd at Mongkok never disperse... The beauty of HK.

Someone who has been sulking from then till now, has wanted to call it a day.. And its like only 8pm. Xin beginning to get a little piss, hence with my persistent, it brought us back to Tsim Sha Tsui.

The night view is nice.. Perfect if you're walking down the Avenue of Stars with a love one, hand-in-had... =)

A group photo before we call it a night. (Oh... can see someone sulking right.)

With that... It end my final night in HK.

Dear Bloggie,
HK Day 3
We started the day REAL early. As the Hotel Floor Manager has recommanded us to this Restaurent for Dim Sum. I mean, how could you say you have been to HK when you have not tasted its Dim Sum right...
But well, we got cheated.. Where is the promised crowd?

But nevertheless, the food is really good. =)

By now, you will have realised that my HK trip is mostly on Food... Well, who will be taking photos while shopping right. This 'Har Kok' is really good. There is like two prawns inside. *yummy*

So is the Char Siew Bao... The Char Siew is haven.

I take them... They no take me... So no me...

After the meal, we head back to the Hotel... We had PLAN to go Central. But someone mood swing again, and wanted to to head down to Mongkok for shopping instead. As its like super early and shops in Mongkok has not opened, we head back to the Hotel instead. Oh yar, and there I saw life on TV on how China got her first Gold Olympic Medal for 2008.

Around 12noon, we took a cab down to Mongkok. While the guys shopped, we girls simple idle around... So we went in search of food!

We tried the 'Ka Li Yu Dan' and 'Kai Dan Zai'... You know what, I actually like it. Alot. =)

Heh, to prove that I really eat the road side food.. Me with the last ball...

After SO long, we Finally reach Central... Once we reached, the guys said they're hngry, so we went to the 1st 'Cha Cen Teng' we saw...

While waiting for the food.

My Lunch.. Well, I'm seriously not hungry.

But you got to admit the food looks good.

HK, other then being the Land of Mango, is also the Land of H&M in Asia... This is the ermm.. 3rd H&M we visited.. And this is the Flagship store in HK, its 4 storeys high. So needless to say, the girls went a little crazy...

We were in H&M for quite some time... The guys left and went to Pacific Coffee to wait. When we're done, they said they want to go back to the Hotel (which is at Jordan) to put their shopping bags. Someone already in a bad mood. We didnt wanted to waste time (and money) to cross the sea, so we splitted way. The girls headed down to...

We at Time Square...

The guys arrived, and we ermm.. took a MTR to 'I-cannot-remember-where' and walked to the Peak Tram!

I have been to the Peak twice. But not once have I been welcome by such a crowd.. And most of the people are *ahem ahem* you know. They are SO rude!! They are like pushing everyone around. I am so disgusted. We spend around an hour queuing up.

Finall, we reach the top exhausted, sticky and hungry... Decided to settle our dinner first.

I think it is a Forest Gump Theme restaurant. Food is okie, but I love the Onion Ring... That's the Tower-looking thing in the photo below.

A group photo! Someone's not too happy, can see right.

Some shots from the top.

We left the peak at 11plus, and took a cab down to Lan Kwai Fong (LKF). Look at the cab waiting for passengers at LKF...

Oh, and remember... Someone wasn't in that good a mood. So when we reached LKF, its decided that Someone doesn't want to drink. Someone took the lead and we simply walk down the slope of LKF... And guess what, hop on the next cab back to the hotel.

And yupz, its back to the Hotel. And what awaits me is my Hipopo in the midst of a Gymastic Stunt. The Hotel cleaning ladies really have a sense of humor.

Lets take a closer look at my Hipopo...

Okie... that ends my Day 3.
