Dear Bloggie,

At home on a rainy Sundae afternoon.

Had a bad weekend with Xiang, and well... We've decided not to see each other today.

So, I've finally got time on my hand to do a little update on my KL trip 2 weeks ago...

.29th October 2005.

The night before, I stayed over at his place... So the nxt morning his Dad could send us to Golden Mile early in the morning to catch the coach to KL...

In the coach waiting to set off... Long long journey.

And after I cant remember how many hours later, we've reached!!
This will be the room we are going to slp in for the next 3 days...

After we have left our stuff in the hotel, we went out to get familiarized ourself with the vincity.

Outside Lot 10 (I think...)

Then we took a cab down to Petaling Street, their China Town. Did alittle shopping there too, and we had our dinner there at this roadside stall. Heard that its supposedly very famous... So I braved a dinner there. I'm usually a very "..." person, and I will never risk to eat stuff from roadside especially when overseas... I dont trust the cleaniness and hygiene lah...

Apparently, this is the "kitchen" where they chuned out all the dishes...

The food is not that bad, but a little too oily. But well, glad that I've tried. :)

After which we walked around abit more, I got all hot and sweaty, and finally decided to go back to the hotel...

.30th October 2005.

Started my day feeling bright and fresh!!

We walked to Time Square, and had out lunchie there...

The supposedly Big and Famous Theme Park which hardly attracks me... But well, cant help but take note of it coz as the Roller Coaster's moving, the whole building seemed to be shaking like its going tru an earthquarke..

Then this is my lunch.

Then we wanted to go down to KLCC. Since its early, we tried to get there by public transport... So, we found our way to the KL Monorail...

While waiting for the train.. Ermm.. Not train, monorail...

And this is how the monorail looks like... The ride is a bumpy one.. Actually quite scary.. Coz not too sure whether is it safe...

And after we get off the monorail, we thought we have arrived at KLCC.. Coz its like the last stop. But we are wrong. As we moved out from the station, we could see the Patronas Tower still very very far awae from us. So we asked around, and realised we have to take another train ride. And the train station, is quite far away... About another 10min walking distance.

So this is the train station Lobby...

Well, I cant tell the difference bwtn the monorail and their train. But anyway, I truly apppreciate the system we have back in Singapore.

And finally, we arrived at KLCC... And I begin shopping.

Till I get tired, then we have a little rest at their coffee bean.

After the Thailand trip, I learnt that every trip I will need to give myself alot of breaks. Continuous shopping for days = Walking around for days. I am obviously going for a holiday, and not some military training...

So we just sit down and watch people walking by... I think sitting at Orchard Road is much more interesting... But well, I need a place to rest my feet.

Not much photos, coz I was busy shopping.

Soon, its dinner time.

Can decode what the signboard reads? I took it from inside the shop... Its the Manhatten Fish Market Place. There's one at Plaza singapura too..

Waiting for my foood....

The wait was worthwhile.. Coz the food is delicious (as per xiang, he simply loves it). I think it taste just like Fish and Co actually.

After that we wanted to make our way back to the hotel. So we followed the signboards to the taxi stand. But it leads us to this dark and deserted underpass. Well, I dont dare to follow futher. But found something interesting thou...

Haha, KL's Post Office.. I found their exterior damn cute... Its shaped in a damn big envelop.

And so give up hope on their taxi stand, we proceed to main road in hope of getting a cab. Damn glad we made that choice. Coz its only then I realised Patronas Towers dont ranked the 2nd tallest building for nothing.

Simply breath-taking I can tell you. Its really magnificant.

Okie, my lousy camera and photo-taking skills are not doing it justice.

.31st October 2005.

Took a cab to Mid-valley Mega Store. No more KL public transport for us.

As we are going to make our day back to Singapore the nxt day, so I really shop till I drop. This is the last chance for me to buy stuff. So in another words, not much photos.

Mid-valley is really giantic. But sadly to say, I realised that all the shops in all the shopping centres I have visited over the past few days are more or less the same. So its just a last chance to let me see what I have left out...

Lunchie. Cant remember whats the shop's name. And the food is so-so only.. (Thus not worth my remembering..)

After lunch, and more shopping. And its time to take a break again.

Starbucks.

Then I got so tired, we took a cab back to the hotel. And from there, we explore the neighbouring shopping centres abit more, and finally settle down for dinner.

Presenting to you...

The Chicken Rice Shop!

Its simply delicious. Yar.. its only chicken rice. But its really yummy. Next time when you go KL please remember to go try it kae...

Really yummy...

Then after that we went back to the hotel, to pack our stuff and get ready for the trip back to Singapore tomorrow...

And I realised i didnt really buy much wor...

I can only remember I bought 3 cardigans and 4 pairs of shoes (Have not bought the last pair when this pic was taken... hehe.

.1st November 2005.

Last day in KL.

Decided to go KTV since the coach coming around 3pm and we cant wander too far off..

Reach there before 11am and this is the queue.

I started going to KTV at the age of 14, and not once have I encounter such a thing. Queuing to go KTV. And its like with at least over 10pple infront of u. Damn horrible I can tell you.

And the worst thing is, when its finally my turn, the waitress asked if I make any reservation. If I didnt, then too bad, they already full-house.

See my sian half face. Its either KL pple really so no life, and KTV's their only entertainment, or KTV's really such a "IN" activity in KL now...

Well, so since no KTV, we went to Sungei Wang.

Then, I spotted this...

Hehe~~* KL aslo got Madam Wong de kae..

So this is my lst meal in KL, before we make our way back to Singpore..

And home sweet home.

.The End.

Dear bloggie,

Today is the BIG DAE!!

Its my Harry Potter DAE again!!!

Hehe~~* I'm going to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire today.

This is not exactly on of my favorite book. I found the begining too long winded. It spent alot of time talking about the quiditch world cup match. Yar, I know its kind of significant as in the end, the Mark came out. But then Rowling spent like 1/4 of the book on it.... A little puts me off.. But no doubt, I think this will be a great movie (maybe even compared to the previous even thou the 3rd book is my favorite...) coz of the competition. Lots of new character in this book is introduced in, Harry's 1st touch of romance, and also lots of exciting sense (I guess... hehe~*) due to the 3 task of the 3 schools....

Really hope this show, after a change in Director, will not disappoint me. Most imptly, I hope the sequence of the show, will remain just like the book....

Xiang knew that I love Harry Potter, and the tickets are opened for advance booking 2 weeks ago. So the Wednesdae nite 2 weeks ago, he actually stayed infront of the comp till 12midnite and book the tickets for me... (While I was at Huili's house playing over-nite mahjong). I was like so happy to recieve the booking confirmation sms from GV a little after 12mn...

So I believe we will have very good seats tonite. *Happie happie*

And today, Alex my boss arrange for a BBQ session after work at the rooftop (my company rooftop)...

From last week till now Irene was busy trying to get the whole thing together.

Looking for the caterer for the BBQ food, and calling up City Satay to get them to deliver satays and all. I hope it doesnt rain today.... Hehe~~*

So by evening, guess I will be busy helping out. (Got to go out buy ice and charcoal with the guys)

And xiang will be coming to pick me up at 7.30pm to go Tamp Mall to catch Harry Potter at 8pm.

Hope today will be a wonderful dae!!!

Really busy with alot of stuff recently. End of the year is always a peak season for me at work. And to make matter worst, my company's D&D is in less then a mth's time and I'm in the comittee. Thus, I've really too much to do, but too lack of time...

Outings with friends have cut down too.. Due to my work comitment, and also they are either busy with school, work or spouse... Hehe~~*

But no worries... I'll meet up with my darling girls very soon. *We're planning for X'mas dinner already.... hehe~~*

Note: KL updates... hehe~~* see whn I free kae...

Dear Bloggie,

Just came back from lunchie…

No boss in the office…

Want to share something funny with you.

You know my work station, my keyboard is not placed on the table. Instead, its on this keyboard drawer thing that could be pulled in and out from under the table. (I think my description sucks, but you know what I mean lah…)

So anyway, one fine day a couple weeks back. I slammed the keyboard drawer thingy in, and it got stuck.

No matter how hard I yanked at it the drawer refused to barged.

So, I called for help.

I called Irene, she came over and she couldn’t get the drawer out.

So Sunny came along, and we asked him for help…

After look at the drawer, he pulled and tugged at it. Finally, he got it out. And he commented that as a girl, I very “chor loh”.

Well, I tried to retaliate by saying its not me whose not gentle enough. Instead, it’s the quality of the drawer that sucks.

And well… Today, the drawer got stucked again. *haizz*

I tried to get it out, but failed.

Got Irene to helped, she tried, but also failed.

Look around, Sunny’s around.

So, he helped me get the stucked drawer out…

But after he got it out, he comment,”Kuai dian jia ren lah, wo pai ni jia bu chu… Zhe yang chor loh…”

Dear Bloggie,

Didnt update for quite some time. Cant help it actually, time doesnt permits me.

Felt so tired.

Work sucks big time.

Getting real busy and some pple still dont know how to 'zi dong'.

I know everyone wants to get some work done. Below are a few examples:-

1. Liar Liar Liar
- Some pple can really lie tru their watever... They can tell me urgent urgent, and insist that I put down EVERYTHING onhand to rush it out for her. (I even stay back for Lunch rushing it out for her…) But after when its done, the matter will dropped doen to ZERO URGENCY. Like if she say she need this before 12noon coz she have to rushed out, most prob she’ll still be in the office till 3pm… So what for you rush me to get it out at 12noon when you will only need it before 3pm.

2. Urgent Urgent Urgent

- How much stuff could go urgent in a day? Once in a while and all I can understand. But after hearing the whole story and rushing me like mad, I can only sae FUCK YOU! Coz its all due your poor time management, and I ended up have to rush like hell…

3. Errmm… Okie, cant think of the third point now.

But anyway, really busy at work. Really stressed me out. With my D&D pressing closer, so much stuff I have to handle. And pple around me are not exactly helping… My D&D committee are like separated into 2 gangs.. And me, just nicely sandwitched in the middle. Coz everyone choose to confide in me. But coz of this, I have to make sure I don’t take sides, and still need to pacify both of them to make sure things could still go on…

And well, xiang is not helping either. Maybe his trying his best. By lending me a listening ear on Monday nite till kind of late. But on Tuesday itself, he choose to undo all the good work the previous nite by pissing me off. Maybe as per him, xin’s at fault. But then don’t think I will know everything if you don’t tell me. I cant read ur mind, and I’m not having tat good a time in the office thus patience running short.

Kae lah, I need to get back to work now. Chunks and chunks waiting for me.

Cant wait to go home… Cant wait for Christmas to come…

Dear Bloggie,

I'm in the office now...

Today's a raining dae, really not a working dae... More of a dae to stay in bed, under my blankie and cuddle to dreamland...

But well, I need money to feed myself. And also the 2 four-legged darlings at home...

I'm getting fat.

And its the really fat type of fat. I can no longer fit into my jeans.. I can feel the seams bursting... And I felt so suffocated in it... Haizz..

Yup, its that bad.

But over at the office, the "tikos" said that in their man's opinion I am just nice..

Kind of consoling.. So at least in the old man's world, I am consider having the "just nice" figure now...

But too bad, I'm not a old woman in the "old man's" world yet.

So, this is totally undesirable to me...

I'm thinking of buying those slimming belts products. My colleauge, Irene was discussing with me earlier on during lunch. Think my mum will like it too... Coz she said she's getting fat recently as my daddy's always home and thus she's been eating quite alot.

So how leh.. So much stuff to buy. So little money.

Dear Bloggie,

Been busy for the past 2 weeks.

Going to do up a condense version of what I have been doing.

Too many memories... Its a pity to let it go down the drain unrecorded..

So here goes...

.24th october 2005 (monday).

Went for the Esprit Charity Premire of the Legend of Zorro.

The ticket cost like SGD100.00 each. And I've got 2, complimentry from my boss coz he bought 30 of it.

The show's at Great World City. Before the show starts, they have the reception which is simply fantastic. The food is damn yummy. Esprit really splurge on this event...

I tot the show would be damn fucked up, but I was wrong.. Its actually quite nice, entertaining and better then I have expected... And Catherine Zeta-Jones is soooo pretty.

.24th October 2005 (tuesday).

Went KTV with Huiyu and the girls after work at AMK...

With Tracy..
Mi with Huiyu..

Huiyu and Josephine..

This is the amount of "dinner" we got for ourself.. Horrible right. We really bought too much food... We got like 10 curry puff, all sorts of balls from Old chang kee, and 4 Macdonald fillet o fish and not fogetting the fries...

And one last group photo to mark the end of the day..

.26th october 2005 (wednesday).

Went for my company's Dinner and Dance Food tasting session at the Chinese Restaurant at Marriott Hotel.

The interior of the restaurant.. The whole place damn classy and expensive looking. The decor's unique and oriental looking while contemporary...

A group photos of the girls in the D&D commitee...

And following, will be the dishes we ate that night. Hehe~~* A little boring. But then its not often that I get to eat at Marriott. And this table cost like SGD 650... But the food there is really yummy, and the service is excellant. We have like 2-3 waiters and waiteress just serving our table..

This dish definately worth my mentioning.. Its simply delicious... Its prawns wrapped in smashed taro, and deep-fried to perfection in the thin layer of crust-like-thingy.. Simply marvelous. My favorite dish of the nite~~*

Shark fins is delicious too. Thick and the fins are still intact (which as per my colleauge is zhen cai shi liao...)

This chicken somehow seemed funny to me... The way its placed makes it looks like a sotong or what...

And this is the Ms. Chicken you see in the above picture. My colleauge, Alvin trying to prove that this is indeed Ms. Chicken and not the Sotong I was talking about. And Its a Ms. and not Mr. Hehe~~* A debate actually went on during dinner. They were saying that Rooster are not meant for consumption, thus all the chicken we are eating now are females... Doesnt really sound correct leh... What you think??

Noodle... But the way its cooked is slightly spicy.. And in my opinion, its wonderful...

Desert... Papaya sago... *Yucks* I dont like papaya... But well, thou I dont like papaya, but it still taste good. And I asked my colleauge to go talk to them, and to change the papaya into something else.. Like honeydew or watermellow... *smile*

So thats the sumptous dinner that night. After which xiang came down to Orchard to pick me up to go home...

.27th October 2005 (thursday).

Hey.. I dont have such a happening lifestyle kae.. After 3 consecutive nights like that, I'm like half dead liao.

I work late on thursday night, and went to xiang house for dinner. After which I watched chobits dvd till I fall aslp. And by the time I woke up, and he send me home, its going to be mid-nite...

.28th October 2005 (friday).

Totally not mood to work that day.

*Holiday mood*

To make things even better, my boss is out-station...

Anyway, went home right after work to pack my bag for the KL trip.. Then xiang came pick me up from home, and I went to his house for the night and his dad send us down on saturday morning...

And the only thing that interest me that day was this...

Invitation cards from Esprit. To my boss of coz.. Hehe~~* Esprit pple are really creative. I really got to hand in to them. Its a invitation to this fashion show party if my memory didnt fail me..

Okie, I got to end here. This blog took me an hour... And xiang is on the way down to my house now. To pick me up to go Sim Lim.. I want to buy a mp3 player...

Wait till the next time round, I'll write about my KL trip... :)
