Dear Bloggie,

This will be a super whiny post to kick start my week. Do not proceed beyond this point if your tolerance level is as low as mine currently; I can guarantee that simply by reading this will just you waste five minutes of your life. This is going to offend plenty of people, but well… If I can’t even get this off my chest at this space; then I got to swallow everything down my throat.

[Friday]

[1] Dinner with HY and TL was cancelled at the last minute as HY wasn’t feeling well. A very turbulent arrangement, trying to accommodate both ‘mummies-to-be’ is never an easy task and we ended up not meeting as HY was sick.

[2] I did not really have a good time at dragonfly that night; I can understand that my colleagues is a little rowdy, but I have to constantly keep tab on Bestie to ensure that she didn’t go overboard. Darling, people challenge you doesn’t mean you have to take up the bait.

[3] Still on Dragonfly… Who that Korean Bitch think she is. Beast was also with us at Dragonfly that evening, he is gentleman enough to volunteer himself as Bestie and my ‘personal driver’ for the night. When a couple more colleagues want to hitch a ride, he is also nice enough to give them a lift. But I DO NOT even know that Korean Bitch, she DID NOT even ask if it is convenient for us to give her lift back home (which by the way… the car is already over-loaded’ and her house is not on-the-way). Hence when Bestie gently told her the car’s kind of full; she RUDLY turn and walk off like we have offended her… In the first place, she is the 不要脸的and yet she behaved like sending her back is 天经地义的。

[Saturday]

[1] Did not have enough sleep; so I woke up feeling grouchy.

[2] While trying to take a nap to nurse that nasty pain in my head; EH called and said she cannot make it for Dinner. I took the car out for that evening and was stuck at the car park for the longest time ever coz the steering wheel was locked. I am late, perspiring and my make-up is threatening to melt away. Then, my cell rang… YK has reached. Fantastic, coz I’m still stuck at the car park at my house. Cell rang again… JT said his not going to joining us. My ‘Angry-meter’ is reaching its peak… A dinner that was pre-planned 3 weeks back, after numerous changes and the turn-out rate sucks big time. I am so NEVER going to organize another gathering for them since no one really appreciates it.

[3] I have not seen YK for the longest time ever; and he totally pissed me off with his words. I am kind enough to introduce my Insurance Agent to you when I know you need a job; I do not need you to come tell me he is incapable. I am happy with his service thus far.

[4] I made the choice for KTV and I truly regret. A) I hate people hogging the system, B) I successfully ostracized myself by going KTV with 2 couples, C) I don’t know what’s C as I am just simply tu lan le.

[5] My behavior sucks big time that night; and I apologize for my sulkiness. I know people around me are trying to accommodate me, but wrong have already been done and nothing else can bright up my mood. My flaw; my bad.

[Sunday]

[1] Went out for movie with AL; a boring date. Enough said.

This is the worst weekend that I ever have in the longest time ever. It is not helping that my period is round the corner, everything will simply amplify and my tolerance level decrease exponentially.

Argh…

Dear Bloggie,

I think I have the ability to speak like a Taiwanese. Every Taiwanese Supplier I spoke to does not believe that I’m a Singaporean; but rather like a Taiwanese.

Is my…

[a] Spoken Chinese that good?
[b] I don’t display my Singlish capability?
[c] Or I’m just errr… ‘very嗲’...

But anyway... Within a short time-span of 1 hour this morning, I decided to take a short trip to Hongkong this June. A super impromptu arrangement, but nevertheless… I do enjoy travelling alone, and to stock up some basic necessity at the Land of Mangos and H&M. =)

Okie.”

Dear Bloggie,

Remember Butterfly?

This is really impromptu..

After some msn-exchange in the afternoon, we made some plans for the coming morning. He called me at 1+am on Sunday morning, and that woke me up from my slumber. My guess is he just meet up with the rest of the guys for their regular weekend rounding trip (Bingo.. he happily told me he manage to hit 240km/hr earlier on; which is his first) He asked me to stay awake, we're going to see the sun-rise.

Of coz... I fall asleep again. But he called again at 4+am, saying his on his way down to my place. He could not take 'No' for an answer.. So just before 5am, I hear his engine coming down the driveway, breaking the peaceful quiet at my neighourhood.

This young boy is a Gentleman. When I reached the lift lobby at Level 1, his standing there waiting for me.. I appreciate the kind gesture.. =)

I thought I'll not sit in a Type-R again... Ermm, somehow.. It felt different from Grouchy Bear's.

We ended up at ECP... Butterfly does not know where can we see the sun-rising up from the horizon. Another 'too-fast-too-furious' driver, we reached the far end of ECP just after 5am. Walked to the Beach, only to be greeted by plenty of lightnings.

Told him it was so surreal to see all the lightning all around us at such close intervals, so we proceed to head 'indoor' - his car. -_-"

But lucky we did that.. coz it started pouring heavily. Stars on the sky? Nah... this is the water droplets on the window.

*sigh*

Unfortunately.. ECP is not the place to see sun-rise. They rain stopped just before we saw the sky getting brighter, but no sign of the fiery ball anywhere near the horizon. So head back to the car, and he tried to race the sun to find another place to see that fiery ball.

Maybe age is catching up, or maybe he is a more 'reck-less' driver. It is not the speed, but more of the way he cuts the corners... I actually felt a little scare. Anyway, we did not manage to catch that fiery ball making its way up from the horizon. =(

He told me the sun is always there, since we miss it this weekend, we can always go see it the next weekend, and also the weekend after next. I told him 'Auntie old liao need her beauty sleep, if not the skin cannot take it' and also sun-rise cannot be seen on a weekly basis of not all the novelty will be gone. The young chap is quick to follow-up, 'Is this my theory on boyfriends too'?

Reached home at 7+am.. I am so tired.

Dear Bloggie,

This is rather difficult for me to pen it down without you people thinking too much. DT is indeed my 初恋情人 one decade ago. He is happily attached and we are nothing but friends; I would classify him as a Special Friend, but definitely nothing in the romantic manner. So with that... DT asked me out for Dinner on Monday.

He picked me up from Office at 5pm; and gave me the options of A, B and C for Dinner. I picked A, and ended up at...

Mount Faber... =) Dinner was at Jewel Box - Black Opal. The entire setting was tastefully done and extremely pretty.. We were early... and we are the only customer. It felt as if we had booked the venue for the evening... The scenery from where I was seated... I was in total peace and transquility. A White for the Lady and Red for the Gentleman. Mushroom Soup... Fruit Salad to share... As the sun set.. tealights were litted resulting in a truly wonderful ambience. Our Mains. Sun has set and Black Opal is romantically lighted up. Deserts... which is absolutely yummy! Nght view from where I was sitted... Identity of DT is protected so not a single photo of him is taken... =) This is a truly romantic dinner which I enjoy myself.

But the night does not end here... We took a stroll around, and we reached the Wave Bridge which is part of the Southern Ridge Walk. I left the camera in the car; hence no photos. The sky is littered with stars, low lights were used on the bridge. This would be a wonderful place to be with your Loved-One.

And ermm.. I did something silly. DT parked at the Carpark near the foot of Mount Faber, and we had to walk up to reach the Bridge. Just as we are leaving the Bridge, we realised that there are some cars illegally parked along the road-side, just at the entrance to the Bridge. I was just counting how many cars are there, and accidentally walked 'into' the err.. post? Yupz, I walked into a stationary object and nearly fall. So much for a romantic night.. that got DT laughing at me for the rest of the night, and all through the week... -_-"

At 10pm, his still reluctant to call it a night. So drove over to Dempsey, but its more of a touch and go 'joy ride'. Well, I'm not complaining... since he drove a merc. =p

With that, I reached home at 11:30pm on a Monday night...

Thanks DT... I had a wonderful time. =)

Dear Bloggie,

10th - 12th April 2008 - My Annual KL Trip with QH

Day 1
Once again, we took a flight to KL. It is a faster more convinient way of travelling... We reached the Changi Airport T1 just slightly after 7am for our 8:55am flight. The day before, I caught a mid-night show with SBK; and was still packing my luggage at 3am. So... I am seriously very tired. After checking-in, we proceed to Killiney Kopitiam for Breakfast.

Just eggs... =) This time round... we took Air Asia.

The flight is pretty full...

And up into the air we go... =) Okie... I dozed off. But the 50min flight ended with a blink of the eye...

QH's Dad came to the Airport to pick us up... And we're on the road again. And this time, I really fall asleep... Reached the Hotel after an hour journey... This time round, we checked into Gardens Hotel, which is located just above Gardens Shopping Centre (which is situated right beside The Mid-Valley). Our room... Very new, very clean and very spacious.. It got a lovely toilet which comes complete with bath tub and a rainforest shower.. And oh... QH and myself are not alone. Hipopo was there too.. =) Right after we put our stuff down in the Hotel room, we wasted no time and went down to Mid Valley.

Our first stop is this Korean Restuarant in Mid Valley. Need to refuel ourselves before we begin 'working-out'. We were here a year ago and I love the food here... Yummy! Just as I remember it... The food is yummy! Me like. Korean Beer to complete the meal.. At the end of the day... 我的战利品。We shopped too hard and totally forgot about food. After we left our shoppings in the Room, we went back to Mid Valley in search of food. We had Jap Food for Dinner.. I actually quite like this place; not coz the food is anything to rave about. But rather, they served Rice (like Katsu Don or Curry Rice) and Noodle in small portions. How small a portion are we talking about here... In the same small plates that is used for the belt sushi. So this means, we can have a great variety of food. Fantastic concept. After a good meal; we proceed back to the Hotel for a well-deserved rest. =)

Day 2

Started our day bright and early! Breakfast at the Hotel... the spread is rather good. =)I like the waffle! After breakfast, we took a cab down to Pavilion. It is just how I remember it to be, and QH went on a shopping spree there. After we're done with Pavilion, we walked to KLCC. But they are having a IT Fair at the convention centre (which is very near KLCC) hence KLCC is over-crowded. We did not stay long as the crowd is kind of annoying, so we took a cab back to the Hotel to put our shopping down. We were kind of tired; so we rested for awhile in the Hotel. Then we went down to Mid Valley in search of food. This time round, we went to Madam Kwan. Long queues was forming, so we assume they are rather popular in Malaysia. Okie... this might sound a little scary. Between 2 girls, I had a Nasi Lemak which QH had a Assam Laksa. And on top of that, we had a Char Kway Tiao to share... =pWe shopping around Mid Valley and retire back to the Hotel. Guess age is really catching up; both of us are real tired this trip... We are not walking as much as the previous years. And this is my loot from Day 2. Very little right... =(

Day 3

Woke up bright and early too (would love to sleep in; but cheapskate us does not want to miss the Breakfast).. Waffles again... =) Anyway, Gardens Hotel is a 5-star Hotel. So we thought it'll be such a pity if we did not explore the Hotel a little (Oh... that's the reasoning we gave ourselves too when we spend a little more time in the room. Its RM400/night, hence we have to 'fully-utilise' the room). We had plans to visit this Kenzo Fish Spa during our KL trip last year. But on that faithful day, a little unfortunate inccident happened and plans were scraped. This year however, we finally got to pay them a visit. =) There are 3 different pools; Small Fish, Medium Fish and Large Fish. So... obviously we went for the Small Fishes pool. QH Feet with the Small Fishes... And me with the Fishes... When I first immerse my feet in, and the fishes ermm.. start feeding on me, my first reaction is... Scream. Its rather ticklish, and takes some getting-used to. But I really did not enjoy it. I know this is not very clear... due to the lighting and the movement. But this is the Big fish.. QH tried immersing her feet in, and said the bites actually hurts a little. -_-" After the awful (and definitely my first and last) experience with the fishes, we proceed for our massage. The massage is good! We checked-out of the room after our massage and took a cab to the Airport. Our last meal in KL... Marybrown's chicken. And with that... we proceed to the Departure Gate and begin our journey back home. =)
