Dear Bloggie,

The setting sun welcomes me to Changi Avaiation Centre last Saturday (29th June).. Such a beautiful sight; but the Butterflies in my stomach are fluttering a little too much for me to enjoy the pretty sight. All geared up for my 10km!!Now is the time.. waiting for the Flag Off.

The first 2km:

It is just pure horrible.. the road seemed to be never-ending. I'm considering of slowing down to a walk. But I persevere and break into a slow jog; and manage to find a momentum. I stop at the next water-point and took a sip of water; the next thing I know is my chest contracted and I was so afraid that I might just stop breathing.

Saw a shoe sole on the road.. bless that poor fellow.

The 2km - 5km:

I am already saying a silent curse to the Organiser as all the Distance Signages seemed to be lacking and even for that pathetic few that appear; the Distances somehow dont seemed accurate. I am still hanging on to that momentum; never stopping but wondering why am I torturing myself while I should be at SQ's Engagement Party.

Finally.. saw the U-Turn Point. But am seriously on the verge of fatique.

The 5km - 7km:

I know that once I stop jogging; I will lose the momentum and its hard to pick it up again. So I really put in my ultimate effort to not give up and continue that slow jog.. My target is to not stop till that 7km mark; but will there be a Distance Signage? So.. my next target is the next water-point. But wtf is the next water-point?

Saw my colleauges just across the Road and they are at their 3km..

The 7km - 8km:

Estimated distance.. but I break into a quick walk before I see the water-point. Really.. cannot make it. Every KM seems to stretch forever.. But for my pride in securing a good timing: I walk.. very fast. ^^

Saw someone being carried up the Ambulance.. just 2km more; wasted.

The 8km - 9km:

Alternate between walking and jogging.. Guess for every 200mtr I jogged; I walked for 100mtr. Saw the last water point and picked up a cup.. and I am glad I did. The 100 Plus seems to be the tastiest stuff I ever had and am craving for more with the sweet lingering taste on my tounge.

My First Medal!!

I am beeming with pride and that can of icy cold 100 Plus they push into my hands is like God-sent. ^^

My Results:

01:22:37

7min 23s faster then my target time!!

I took 00:38:32 to complete 5km.. which is way faster then my regular average for my weekly jog. ^^

Conclusion:

I think.. I did a great job and am proud of myself. Thou I am aching like mad now, but the sweet bitter victory is worth all very ounce of pain.

So.. what's next? ^^

Dear Bloggie,

Been a little busy lately at work.. but this is a short week as Friday is a Public Holiday and I'll be having early release from work due to some Family Day thing. Will be meeting Boyfriend later.. am craving for some Good Food. ^^

Anyway.. I'm going to Adidas Sun Down this weekend!! The max I ever push myself is 7km; but I'm confident that I can finish this 10km.. but the only thing is what sort of timing I'll get. ^^Boyfriend has got a Wedding to attend and he is the 兄弟 hence I've got to go for this all by myself.. that Idiot even ask me to go pick him up after his Dinner (in case he have a little too much to drink). Tsk tsk.. But nevertheless.. I am pretty excited about this run. BTW.. I have this something Special in my Race Pack which I am sure you do not have in yours!! Keke.. 'Keep-Running-Cookie' specially for the Runners from Office baked with Love from JT..

Have a Great Weekend people!! Bestie is back in Town after her long holiday and I cant wait to see her this Sunday. ^^

Dear Bloggie,

Another weekend has gone and with a wink of the eye. Extremely tired now but the weekend has been really good. Gone are the negative mood as things starts to go in the correct direction.. So.. this will be a random post of my weekend:-

[1]

I had wanted to eat Bak Kut Teh (BKT) after work on Friday.. and made my way down to the West to meet Boyfriend as the one at Alexandra Village is super duper yummy. After I made the journey from East to West and hop on to Boyfriend's car at Dover.. He then tell me Alexandra Village is close for renovation till-dunno-when. 他骗我大老远下到西部 then fail to deliver that super duper yummy BKT. Angry can!!

So he made it all up by bringing me to the head/tail of 九十九弯 (the one nearer to Pasir Panjang) for some famous Braised Duckie. The meat is tender and 很入味.. and the surprise of the evening - Kang Kong. I actually like this Sambal Kang Kong when I am NEVER a fan of vegetable. ^^

[2] Caught a show at AMK Hub on Friday night.. and I dump into not 1; but 2 groups of friends! This shows how little entertainment we have over in Singapore and how homely friends I have.. All at the heartland area on a Friday night. ^^

[3]

Went for a Hair Cut at Orchard on Saturday Noon.. travelled down to AMK after my Haircut and head to Long House for a late lunchie with Boyfriend. The 排骨虾面汤 is very very good.. I so adore the soup; its the type that has a tinge of spice in it. ^^

[4] Watched Shrek on Saturday evening.. and after which we head to Changi Airport T3 for supper at Popeyes. Didnt know that Changi Airport is such a popular hang-out place now; it is super duper crowded at 12mn. And till now.. I do not understand why do they have to set the temperature of the Air-con at Airport suitable for the Polar Bears and Penquins; these animals dont take plane you know.. and its freezing my nose off. Tsk tsk.

[5]

After a 7km Jog on Sunday morning; I feel all ready for Sun-Down next weekend!! Boyfriend came by early and we head to Orchard Central for Huili's Birthday Lunch with the Poly People.. Surprisingly.. noone is very late. ^^The food there is expensive can... -__- Boyfriend and myself ordered a BBQ Spicy Pork and a Kimchi Soup with Rice. Ermm.. I had better Kroean Food before (Togi @ China Town), so its a rather disappointing meal. And Ben & Jerry is a nice way to end off our meal. ^^

[6]

Went to NTUC for some Grocery Shopping with Boyfriend after Lunch at AMK's NTUC.. super crowded can. While queuing up for the Cashier.. I notice there's these scratches at Boyfriend arm. Tsk tsk.. 不只是那只猫咪干的好事.

[7]

Reached home at 6:15pm.. and I took 15min to doll myself up and am all ready to leave the House. Attended CK's Wedding Dinner at Goodwood Park!! Love that picture I took with all my female cousins. These little darlings have all grown up.. no longer the little babies that I will bring out during the school holidays for some cartoon movies.

Anyway.. I realised the serving portion for Goodwood Park is huge by Hotel's standard. But just that the waiter is very inexperience.. So congratulations to CK and wifey!!

Next weekend Boyfriend would be back to the same Hotel for KH and Rainbow's Wedding Dinner while I slog away at Sun Down.. He'll be the 兄弟 for KH so he totally cannot go cheer me on. So now am trying to figure out how to get to Changi Aviation myself... :(

Dear Bloggie,

Have not been in the best of mood lately..

The depress feeling came back for me twice for the past 7 days.. Took a long walk home from Hougang Central last evening, hoping the long walk could clear my mind.

I don't think I could attribute it to hormones at work; and life has been pretty smooth-sailing of late. I really do not know what went wrong..

Hope this feeling will be gone soon.. I so hate it.

Dear Bloggie,

.Random.

[1]

I told Boyfriend last Friday on MSN that we have both gain much weight after our Hongkong Trip and its now pay-back time.. No ice-cream for the next 2 weeks. But well.. after our late Brekkie at Whompoa Hawker Centre, we went to Velocity to see if we can grab any Sport-related-stuff.

And then.. the weather is very warm you know, and Udders is just a junction away from us. So we did the most logical thing ever.. Hand-in-hand, we stroll over to Udders and shared 2 scoops among us. ^^ All the dieting talk 以抛掷九霄云外.

[2]

Was at Adam Road's Hawker after a Date with Boyfriend for some Drinks before we call it at day.. we bought the tissue paper there and see!! Its so cute!!

[3]

Surprise from Mummy early Monday morning.. A full bowl of Birdnest Goodness.. What a perfect way to start off my week. ^^

[4]

My new Lunch Box from HK.. its yellow you know. ^^ It even comes with this ultra cute fork and spoon.. which I later found out it is indeed kiddy size. The spoon only manage to scoop up 78grains of rice each time. -__- But nevertheless, its cute and I am loving it!! And this is my Lunchie.. all ta-baoed from Granny's house on Sunday evening. We had a belated Mummy's Day Celebration as the kiddos were having exams. All super yummy!!

[5]

And I did well last month.. I recieved my monthly statement from Citibank and it shows that I got to pay $0. ^^

Dear Bloggie,

The Day I Open Up His Toys... ^^
The Boyfriend.. has this collection of Toys - which I can buy a Prada or two with some of them. They are all in pristine condition and in the never-open-before state; a little dent in the Box will send aches deep into his heart. :x I often asked him.. what will happen if one day, his Kids were to just tear the box apart to play with the Toys. He will reply back in nonchalently manner, "No choice loh.. Toys only mah".
So.. over the weekend I decided to test test the system. :p

This.. is one of the Disney Transformer (Donald Dukie to Bumble Bee) we handcarried back to Singapore from Hongkong. Boyfriend has actually preferred the Black and White version, but ended up buying the Colored one coz I told him I find it prettier. I did tell him to buy the Black and White version too.. but Sweetie Boyfriend decide against it so I could have a little more cash to do my Shopping.. *smile*

So.. over at Boyfriend's house over the weekend and while his not in the room. I slowly and carefully opened up the Box. Say 'Hi' to Donald Duckie~~* I thought I could tranform Donald Duckie in Bumble Bee before Boyfriend comes into the Room.. But this Duckie is harder to handle then I ever imagine.. And its not helping that all the text on the instruction sheets are in Japanese. -__-Boyfriend.. walked into the Room and saw me struggling with Duckie. He is totally not angry, but rather excited and proceed to do the transforming himself when I told him I totally cannot get the Duckie to move.

And see how serious is he.. all focus on the Duckie. And from the floor..

He move up to the Bed and continue twisting the Duckie left, right and centre. And finally.. after 30min (or is it more..) He finally get the whole Bumble Bees up!! So.. I have tested and proven - Boyfriend might have this Hidden Desire to open up all the Toys and played with it but 不舍的. :x

But I guess this is the only one I dare to open up and try as Donald Duckie is not a rare toy and could be commonly found around.

So this ended my little adventure on.. The day I Open up Boyfriend's Toy. ^^

Dear Bloggie,

You know.. I somehow was very upset yesterday.

I was just suppressing myself all through the day.. but as 5pm comes nearer I got sadder instead of happier. So much so that when I was on my way home, I got a little depress and felt like crying. I was asking myself.. if I should change and go for a jog and clear my head a little or should I buy a good dinner and stuff myself away.

Logically.. the optimal option should be to go for a jog, even a short 2km might work wonders. But before I could make up my mind, Mummy called and asked me to buy Dinner for her.. so I crave in and took the easy way out - pigging out on food.

I know Boyfriend is waiting for that sms.. to let him know I've reached home; its a daily ritual. But somehow.. I dont want to do it. He buzz me at 7pm, asking me if I've reach home.. maybe worried coz I should be home an hour earlier. So I replied back on msn.. that I've reached home. all the 1-worded ans flew between us. I know his upset at my indifference all of a sudden, and me.. am upset that his going out. But by now.. we have 2 Angry Parties - Me and Him.

Hohoho.. so the mystery unveils - I am upset coz he has a Dinner Date.

But why.. why does he have so many Dinner Dates. By now.. I already knew this Jovial Man has MANY friends. I can take those gatherings in groups; even if its held frequently like once a week. But it is those 1-to-1 meeting that irks me.. especially if its a Girl. Call it Jealousy or Possessive - I dont care.

And seriously.. which Friend in the opposite gender (no matter how platonic is it) will still ask an attached Friend out as frequent as an Bi-weekly affair for a 1-to-1 Dinner Date. She asked him out on Friday initially.. but he later change it to Thursday as he can sense my resentment.

We kind of trashed it out early this morning (err.. like 1am) as I could not sleep and he has return from Dinner. But I am still upset - I do not want him to reject such dates; I dont want him to change his lifestyle after I came into the picture. But yet I cannot take such frequent dates!! He said I am his piority now and he will cease going if I do not like it - see.. this is not the result that I want.

Any compromise?? I'm not sure.. he sure wants to ensure that I am happy; coz he said only then he'll be happy. But yet.. will he be truly happy? I am deprieving him from a lifestyle that he had all these while.

Is this our first arguement?? I'm not sure either.. coz from beginning till end no angry or hurtful words has been exchanged.

Sigh.. no idea what's next. =(

Dear Bloggie,

Hongkong Part 2

Even after editing all the photos.. I've got 105 photos to upload. Just as Mao² said on Facebook, I am really trigger happy.. anyway, this is Part 2 and also the final part to my 6D5N holiday in Hongkong!

Day 4 (3rd May)
Started our day early as we have a long day ahead!! Walk the very familiar street by now to the Hongkong China Ferry Terminal. Its just a 10-15min walk away from our Hotel.
Bought our single journey ticket from TST to Macau Ferry Terminal.. this cost us HKD 133.. And I got a exit chop from Hongkong!! Boyfriend cannot go hungry you know.. A hungry man is an angry man. So bought sandwitch for him at the 7-eleven. Chocolate Milk is for me~~* Boyfriend is a Kopi Man.. ^^

And with that.. we took the Ferry that lasted for 75min to Macau. See see!! A new chop in my Passport!! The first new country I visited this year!! We took a Public Bus from the Macau Ferry Terminal and went to... Senado Square. Upon reaching.. we soptted Yi Shun Diary (okie, I made up the name.. I'm not exactly sure what you call it). So we make a pit stop before starting our day proper.

This is a place famous for their steam milk and steam milk with egg. We ordered 1 of each to share.. and Boyfriend dont fancy much of the steam milk, hence I finish the whole bulk of it while he ate up the egg. Well.. I'm a sucker for milk (no pun intended), so I really like this. And we have our first taste of Fried Pork Bun in Macau; and ho ho~~* This is SUPER YUMMY!!

Us at the Steam Milk Shop... ^^Its a pretty warm day.. so I am just snapping as I walk. Visited a couple of Churches and walk through the main part of Senado Square. The whole place is very commercialized.. I cannot determine if I like it or not, but well.. So the both of us just walk and eat.. walk and eat. :p Boyfriend did a Egg Tart Testing and I'll post up the Best Egg Tart Post soon.. ^^Visited the very famous 大三八牌坊.. I have to say, all the buildings are all very nicely done up. But its more of a been there done that for us... :x So we continue to eat and walk.. eat and walk. Its truly a warm day.. and my feet is getting sore. I mean we've been walking alot for the past few days.. so after we covered most of the places on the map, we hop on to the Bus and venture to our next destination. The Macau Tower.. I had initially wanted to make a pit stop there. But decided not to as I am really tired of all the walking. =( Da dah~~* And we reach Venetian. The way I describe might have make the whole journey sounds easy.. but actually we spend alot of time trying to figure out the location of the Bus Stop and what is the correct Bus to take.. And even when we boarded the Bus we dare not put our guards down as we are afraid we might miss our stops. Its not helping when the Girlfriend dont have much 方向感 and we have to depend on my broken cantonese to get us through.

Anyway.. Venetian. It is indeed 金碧辉煌.. but everything seemed a little too grand that it felt man-made. Yupz.. I dont like it.

Took a quick snap of the Casino.. it is indeed HUGE. It is more spacious hence the overall feel is better then the Genting. I was a little hungry so we stopped at the Food court for some Jap food to share.

Anyway.. I know the err.. little boat is one of the iconic thing at Venetian. Nope, I didnt try coz we are rather low in cash (Boyfriend thinks I shopped a little too much). But I took the photos of some Japanese Ladies in the little boat. They kept asking the boat-rower (or what-ever-he-is-called) to sing. So that poor guy did open his mouth occastionally.. that did not satisfied the ladies and the Old Japanese Lady ended up singing herself!! She sang some Japanese Folksong that I dont understand.. but the clash of culture is so interesting. And of coz.. entertaining. ^^

Ermm.. more interior shots. A little too fake.. me no like.

Us at Venetian~*And then.. we took the free transport provided by Venetian back to Macau Ferry Terminal. So.. we headed back to the Ferry Terminal, bought the return tickets and got my new chop completed.

We hor.. kia si. It is 4:25pm when we reach the Terminal. The next Ferry to take off is at 4:45pm.. but we didnt dare to take as we read somewhere that it is safe to have a 30min buffer as check-in might take quite some time. But who knows.. checking-in is a breeze and we seated at the waiting area at 4:35pm watching people board the 4:45pm Ferry and we continue to stone till 4:00pm. -__-

So.. we took a Ferry back to Central (tickets at HKD 142) and it is much faster at 60min. Not wanting to waste more time.. we went to our next Destination. ^^

The Peak!! The other day we did not manage to go up as I start to feel unwell; so this time round we tried queuing again. The queue is much shorter as its a weekday.. so next time round, go on a weekday! Me + Love in the Tram up the Peak~~* Night is falling.. and I am freezing. Boyfriend found this restaurant at the Peak online with good reviews.. so we went there for Dinner. We got ourselves an out-door seats; but it proved too be too cold for me and there are flying moths.. so I requested to be shifted indoors instead.

Anyway.. my Carbonara is good! Boyfriend got himself a stone-bowl rice; but what is special is that the sauce on the rice is the spaghetti mince-meat sauce. Overall.. the food is very well-done. ^^

Saw GOD at the Peak.. Bestie love this shop. Walked around a little and bought a cute boxer for my Baby Brother. The mesmerizing nite view.. and I am freezing my nose off. 笑不出阿.. 冷死我了。So anyway.. we walked around TST a little more before calling it and early night. Boyfriend got no Shopping of the Day... :x So these are my purchases. Didnt buy much actually.. That China plate Boxer for Baby Brother and Chestnuts for Bestie's mummy. :p

I think.. I was up watching National Geographic and doze off in Boyfriend's arms once again. ^^

Day 5 (4th May)

Started our day.. slightly late. Tired lah you know.. Walked to TST.. spotted a Esprit Outlet near the HK China Ferry Terminal the day before. Passed by a Bakery and was so attracted to the loti so we settled our Brekkie here. Egg Tart Post coming up soon.. keke. But by the looks of it.. Boyfriend is loving his Egg Tart! It is still piping hot you know.. how to be not nice leh. ^^After our shopping trip at Espit.. we took a walk back to our Hotel to put the heavy shopping down. Anyway.. how can a HK Trip be w/o 徐留山?? So we stopped for some Dessert before we we go back to the Hotel. Keke.. Very yummy you know~* Anyway.. this is what has been keeping me in the Hotel. I am so loving National Geographic now.. so much so that I've been spending much time in Boyfriend house now watching it. :x After that 1 hour of National Geographic.. we finally make our way to Mong Kok - the ultimate Shopping Haven. So anyway.. at Mongkok. We just shopped and eat.. shopped and eat. We found the ultimate Shopping Haven that Boyfriend's friend has so kindly pointed to us. I guess.. we spend not less then 3 hours here and we ended up with many many shopping bags. I.. am truly tired. So we settled down at 美心 for a short break.. Bought a 八宝饭 to share. And.. we continue to 买东西、吃东西。。买东西、吃东西。Boyfriend was out searching for Toys.. and I see left see right, and I saw this so cute Little Twin Star!! Boyfriend bought it for me.. and this so cute thingy is hanging on my Camera now. ^^And hor.. we continue to 买东西、吃东西。。买东西、吃东西。Poor Boyfriend.. carrying all the Shopping Bags with his 招牌笑容. Keke.. He is really very very tired. My poor poor Darling. :x And hor.. this is not the end. After we put our Shopping down in the Hotel we took a walk to Miramar Shopping Centre and continue shopping. ^^And hor.. thou we've been snacking the entire day, but we have not ate a decent meal. So this is our last meal in HK - finished with the Best Egg Tart in HK. ^^And this is our Shopping for the Day!!! Boyfriend is happy today.. make it VERY HAPPY! He manage to get Toys.. but thn I know he wanted the other set too, but due to low in cash.. he have to 割爱 so I can continue shopping. And we bought Red Red Converse you know.. keke, Red Converse has been talking to me since the day we landed in HK.. and I got it cheap you know~*And with that.. we called it an early night. With Hipopo no less... ^^

Day 6 (5th May)I am up early.. and Boyfriend still sleeping. ^^ So finally got Boyfriend to wakie.. and I packed my luggage. Bought quite a bit.. had quite a bit of problem squeezing everything in. And once Boyfriend is done.. we went out for Brekkie! We made a trip to Yau Ma Tei.. There is this ever so famous Dim Sum Shop that is opened by a Michellin Star Chef.. It opened at 10am, we reached at 10:20am.. and we got a queue number that asked us back to come back at 3pm. Horrible isnt it. So.. we gave up and walk through a Market to get back to Mongkok. Hungry you know.. ate a Polo Bun. And.. went to a Dim Sum Restaurant that I frequent in HK. I believe the fare is not as good as the other one. But Boyfriend really like Dim Sum so die die got to let him have it before we leave the Land of Dim Sum. Thou.. we are full to the max; but we still swing by for some Dessert. My Sea Coconut Sago is very very good!! But why is it in white ah?? Since we're at Mongkok.. we made a final trip to H&M. ^^And we took a long long walk.. HK Government is really good.. they have this at the stairs for you visually handicap friends. I think its to let them know there is a flight of stairs. And.. we went to see the Sea and the Avenue of Stars~~* I like the photo of Boyfriend + Me... keke. ^^漫漫长路。。手牵着手。After which.. we made our way back to the MTR station. Another long long walk. Then.. we walk back to the Hotel and claim our luggage out.. Boyfriend very 宝贝his Toys.. We are going to handcarry back you know. Tsk tsk.. We took a cab to Kowloon Terminal and checked-in.While waiting for our Airport Express to the Airport.. Boyfriend cute hor~* keke.. And my legs are simply breaking by then. Our journey back to the Airport.. All checked-in.. Our final meal in HK.. Boyfriend said this is the Best Roosted Goose he ate in HK. Even better then the super expensive one in Central and guess what.. much cheaper. :x I am so missing our time back in HK... Beautiful Sunset.. ^^ Frankly lah.. CX serve better meals.

So.. we went with 2 luggages that weigh 20 kg, but come back with 4 luggages that total up close to 50kg. Boyfriend Papa + Mama came by to pick us up.. *sweet* With that it ended our 6D5N trip.

It has been a wonderful trip.. and I am so looking forward to our next. Thanks Boyfriend.. for everything k.. ^^
